LAROCQUE, Earl Bernard, age 76, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020. He was born to the late Edward and Lillian (Fleury) LaRocque on August 18, 1943 in Cheboygan, Michigan. He came from a large family of 12 children. On June 10, 1965 he married the former Norma Sue Harvey and she survives him. Earl served in the U.S. Navy and went on to work for General Motors as an electrician where he retired in 1994. Earl was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother and mentor to many. He dearly loved his family and his cat Sid. Earl also had an indescribable love for life. He was always willing to help anyone out with the drop of a hat. He was a man that always had to keep busy. He even enjoyed vacuuming and doing the dishes. Earl was a talented woodworker, recreating and refurbishing furniture. He enjoyed a good game of rummy, cribbage or solitaire and loved a good nap.
Along with his wife Norma, Earl is survived by his children, Marie (David) Kraynak, Lori (Norm) Soper and Kimi Boquette and grandchildren, Benjamin and Noah Soper and Olivia and Jack Boquette.
Cremation will take place and no services are planned.
