John Fitzgerald LaBelle

 

LABELLE, John Fitzgerald, age 57, passed away at home after a lengthy illness. John was born on August 9, 1961 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Laurence and Jacqueline (Lintz) LaBelle. He married the former Dawn Stedman in 2004 and she survives him. John owned and operated LaBelle’s Concrete. He enjoyed racing cars, camping, going to his cabin up north and spending time with his family.

 

Along with his wife Dawn, John is survived by his step-children, Carrie (Tom) Renner and Heather (Erik) Peterson; grandchildren,  Tommy, Bradley, Caitlynn, Nathan, Lilliana and Cash; great-grandchildren, Emma and Mia; siblings, Larry (Jackie) LaBelle, Joseph (Sue) LaBelle, Renee (Dean) Baker, Brenda (Alan) Meyer, Vickie Runyan and Basil (Kristi) LaBelle; Brother-in-laws, Jim Stedman, Bill (Nancy) Stedman and Mark Stedman; many nieces and nephews and a special friend Becky Webber.  Along with his parents, Laurence and Jacqueline, John was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes LaBelle; a nephew, Joshua LaBelle; and a brother-in-law, Steve Stedman.

 

The funeral service will be held Friday, June 28, 2019 at 12:00 noon, at Nativity Lutheran Church, 625 W. Clinton St., St. Charles.  Pastor Mitch Vogeli will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Memorial contributions can be directed to Heartland Hospice or Nativity Lutheran Church.
