BOTT, Linda Darleen (Zelmer), age 69, of Brant passed away February 25, 2019 at home. She was born September 9th, 1949 in Bad Axe, Michigan to the late Ferdinand and Julia (Birkner) Zelmer. Linda graduated from Buena Vista High School in 1968. She then married Earl James Bott on February 15, 1969 in Saginaw and he survives her. Linda had an open door policy for anyone who was in need. She was known for her canned pickles and was a great bowler.
Along with her husband Earl, Linda is survived by sons, James Bott (Mindy Schwab) of Brant and Alan Bott (Shawna Lorenz) of St. Charles; Daughter, Darleen (Rich) Bott-Ellison of Rhodes, Michigan; 6 grandchildren, Amanda Bott (Mark Shinobi), Dillon Bott, Carly Bott, Logan Bott, Gage Bott and Gabriella Bott; one great grandchild on the way; sister, Beverly Volker of Merrill, Michigan; sister-in-laws, Edna Zelmer of Ocala, Florida and Becky Zelmer of St. Louis, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John, James and Ronald Zelmer; sister, Sharon Chinivere and brother-in-law, Richard Volker.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at C.M. Humpula Funeral Home, 209 Entrepreneur Dr., St. Charles. Rev. Rich Ellison will officiate. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Following Linda’s wishes she will be cremated following the service and a celebration of life will be held this summer. Memorial contributions can be made to the family’s wishes.
